Dragon Model

This is the first time I have worked on zBrush This isn't the first model I have made, but its the second one next to the head model I have.  There are no wings on it due to how thin the wings will be, so maybe one day i will get some wings into this once I have the time to bring this project back up to the surface for extra touch ups!

Dranel's body

So, I have finished the model for now, as I am sure I will be revisit it in the future for models. There are some things I would like to change and figure out why my batch render for a turn around takes such a long time. So before I solve that problem there are images for now. I would like to redo her hair, as this is my first real life character model and is still getting the hang of hair. her long hair might also be the reason behind the slow renders. She has creepy eyes, I know, but it is based off the image I had for her before. I do with I can change the size of her lips eventually, as they are longer then normal. I also want to have her have clothes and then rig her so she can be in the pose I had drawn up. So if you have any tips, comment below and I will put it towards the things i need to change. Don't forget to like this if you think I am going the right way on models! Or if you just like my modeling!

City-progress, props

So I have been quite busy working on these final touches to make it presentable to my blog! I have always wondered if I should more me rather then professional serious talking, though my work is quite serious! Which is why there haven't been any posts lately. Too much to do! So little time!

Here is a start of the props that go into the city I am modeling. This city is based near a valley thus having a large asphalt ground that is surrounding the important Parliament in the city. This is suppose to be a ruained city, so these are rusted old props I have made to go into the model. There are street lamps, benches, etc, that are old and sometimes broken. There are already in its position for the final outcome.

This Bench is worn out and tossed around

Sukhoi Su-34-progress

This is half the focal point on a city I am building at the moment for a project. This is a work in progress of a Sukhoi Su-34. This is a fighter I have been eying to work on one day, and found the perfect opportunity to make this work. This is the clean model of the plane, though for the plane to work with the city that I have prepared, I have demolish it at the end. Though planes are built to keep as much structure as possible so there isn't much to destroy. The cockpit needs to be crushed into a building.

If you think there is some stuff I am missing please leave a comment so I can add it to my creation!

Dranel now has a body!

Dranel is still being worked on. Though I am in the progress of fixing her arms, since they are not quite anatomically correct, but she is getting there and coming to life with just a month left of working on her. I hope I can get some clothing onto her soon as well before the term is over. Any thoughts on her is would be great, and yes, sorry if she looks very skinny. Dranel was originally a half-reaper with skin is peeling off (yes I know, a great image), so this model of her being a little anatomically skinny is alright for Dranel.

Dranel- Character concept

This is my first time doing a digital painting. I have tried but have never actually finished it. This is a character I am hoping to be modeling soon. Her name is Dranel, how she carries such a large weapon is anyone guess. She will be modeled without the cape.

Story Boarding- Straight Road

First time doing story boarding for a story regarding Life. This shows how a normal serious life meaning story can be converted into an interesting show/ film depending on how its written and how sounds can be incorporated in making it an interesting show/film.

The Angry Apple Tree

The Sculpture is the Angry Apple Tree made for the Wizard of Oz. Made some improvements regarding the apple tree drawing, This was passed off  our own impression of Wizard of Oz characters.Changes made:
-he now has eyeballs...which are acorns
-he has his own characteristics
-now has a very large forehead. If a tree ever had a forehead.

Bar Model

Amu-chan

First humanoid character ever molded. This is based off the little match girl. Who was an orphan and lives alone in the streets. Amu is not suppose to be a realistic character, rather a 2D character who belongs on shows for children. She lives happily hoping no hardship will ever make her sad, because she has her precious bunny that someone important gave it to her.

Graphic Design

Some Graphic Design Work using a new program. Worked out pretty well for something new! This graphic design was inspired by Alice in Wonderland, the Red Roses. It takes some getting use to the program, but you can do lots regarding the tools given to use. Maybe one day I can do some graphic design work as a side job!

Life Drawing

Element Drawing

Life Drawing 1

Water Creature

Just a little practice on digital painting and working on a dynamic pose.

Texture Drawings

These are some close up drawings of animals textures. Can you guess what animals these textures belong to.

Indoor Enviroment

The Second time I have worked on modeling. This isn't my best work due to giving myself more work then I could do in the time frame I had, but it is not that bad for an clean environment

Alleyway

First Environmental Modeling I have ever done. It is just a basic alleyway. My apologies for the horrible background.

Spray Paint Art

So...A blog to start off the break!

My name is Betty Guo, though my artist name is BT. I am an artist in both traditional and digital artwork. I am working towards 3D modeling, though am also learning new skills on other digital art departments. I am also a very cheerful, energetic worker! So this blog will include artwork of traditional and digital mediums for projects and sketches. All artwork is done by me unless otherwise started.
